Gotta end the trip on a good note
Opened up a nice rare beer for my friend on his last night in Portland. He was not disappointed.
Drie Fonteinen Armand ‘4 Zomer: This beer is absurd. It doesn’t have the minerality present in Herfst, but it is significantly more grassy. I guess that is why it is called “zomer”. The complexity of this beer is great. Grapefruit, lemon peel, grass, barnyard funk, and a nice lingering bitterness that isn’t found in most beers. Pretty much perfection right here. A++
