Europe Part II

Onwards to De Heeren van Liedekercke (DHL) for short. Probably known as the greatest restaurant for beer in the world. Doesn’t look like much, but it was an amazing experience.

Cantillon Saint Lamvinus 2003: The only batch of Saint Lamvinus that was aged in Port barrels. I have no idea why they haven’t done this again, but this ranks among the best fruited sours I’ve had in my entire life. So much wine, funk, and more funk. One of the longest finishes of a beer to boot. A++

Cantillon Vigneronne 2004: Another fantastic beer. Not much grape left in this one, but it was so soft and delicious!
