Continuing the Lambic Rampage

For one reason or another, I’ve been drinking a lot of lambic recently. Then, on Friday, I got drunk and my friends “convinced” me that we needed to try another bottle of lambic. In my drunken and easily influenced state, I said, “YES!”

Cantillon Lou Pepe Framboise 2011 (2013 cork): So, this beer is very clean, with pronounced raspberry notes along with some funk and tartness. Comparing this beer to Hommage and Framboos, both Drie Fonteinen beers are superior to LPF. While LPF is extremely good and one of the best framboises available, Hommage and Framboos have a deep, jammy quality that just isn’t present in the Cantillon bottle. Nevertheless, A+.
